Grant for the Ak-Chin Indian Community in Maricopa, AZ
The National Society for American Elderly
The NSAIE will use the Choice Hotel International Foundation funds to achieve the following objectives:
Decrease physical and emotional isolation in Ak Chin Indian elderly through the provision of approximately 1,200 congregate meals.
Increase the nutritional status of Ak Chin Indian elderly through the provision of 1,200 congregate meals.
The Choice Hotels Foundation is charged with targeting and coordinating Choice’s financial support for groups that 1) provide shelter and food to those in need; 2) promote the growth and development of
tourism; 3) support the educational efforts of schools, workforce entry organizations and the hospitality industry; and 4) enhance the quality of life in local communities where Choice Hotels International has
a presence.
