Who We Are

The National Society for American Indian Elderly (NSAIE) was founded by Steve Wilson, Oneida Winship, Tony Sanchez, Susan White and other individuals interested in improving conditions for American Indian, Alaska Native and Pacific American Elders. The Board of Directors draws from Social Service and Title VI Directors.

One of the Board identified goals as an organization is to improve the quality of life for underserved, rural, and on-reservation American Indian, Alaska Native and Pacific American Elders through a network of tribally established and administered services. We work at the grassroots level to help meet the greatest needs as identified by the communities. We work to find and provide no and low cost solutions in ways that respect the individuals, cultures and traditions of the people we serve.

The mission of the National Society for American Indian Elderly is for all American Indian, Alaska Native and Pacific American Elders to have access to services that will meet their needs as respected members of their communities and as keepers of their traditions.
