About

The NSAIE was founded under the leadership of Steve, Oneida, Tony Sanchez, Susan White and other individuals interested in improving conditions for American Indian, Alaska Native and Pacific American Elders. The Board of Directors consists of current and former Social Service and Title VI Directors.

One of the Board identified goals as an organization is to improve the quality of life for under-served, rural, and on-reservation American Indian, Alaska Native and Pacific American Elders through a network of tribally established and administered services. We work at the grassroots level to help meet the greatest needs as identified by the communities themselves. We work to find and provide no and low cost solutions in ways that respect the individual, culture and traditions of the people we serve.

The mission of the National Society for American Indian Elderly (NSAIE) is for all American Indian, Alaska Native and Pacific American Elders to have access to services that will meet their needs as respected members of their communities and as keepers of their traditions.
